A Sinister Fairytale
A Sinister Fairytale is set in a small town out in the middle of nowhere, where the next town is fifty miles away. This town is called Balden;
things have been pretty much the same since the 1400s here. The castle that looms off in the short distance is well maintained and the royalty still lives there.
Of course modern things have been added though people tend to stay true to the old ways. Many still use horses as their main transportation but some cars have
leaked in but there is little use for them here; unless you are traveling far.
The roads are slowly being paved over with asphalt so there is work in construction but the real money to be made is at the Castle. Pages wander the hallways training
those that are less than worthy of a normal life. There is also the basic servants and what not; cooks, maids, gardeners etc.
Those that are deemed less than worthy are called slaves. They are to do whatever it is that their Mistress or Master wants of them. They crawl around naked or barely clothed.
If they are bad then they are punished. They are to do whatever it is that is asked of them; usually actions in sexual nature.
What gets them to this status or rank? Why anything. They might be a problem child, they might have been one of the few unlucky to be born into it, or simply to pay off a debt.
There is no happy ending here - unless you are the owner.
